Longmeadow, Massachusetts, was settled as part of Springfield. By 1714, several houses were built around this common green which runs along Longmeadow Street. This beautiful green is the site of the annual Longmeadow Days and is part of the Historic District which was established in 1973. The District also includes the Town Hall, and the old section of the cemetery
