By 1920 the inside of the brick meetinghouse had been changed. The woodwork, except for pulpit, was white, the cross was removed, and electricity was introduced. The pale pink walls were the choice of artist Augustus Vincent Tack, who had a studio in Deerfield, Massachusetts. The lack of decoration, the box pews, and the pulpit are all reminders of the colonial time period in the 1920 remodeling of the 1824 Meetinghouse.
