In 1952 Henry and Helen Flynt wrote this 8-page booklet. It is one in a series of books about life in colonial times. The importance of the meetinghouse as both a place for religious services and for town meetings is noted. The meetinghouses discussed in the booklet are those of the 17th and 18th centuries in Deerfield.
