There is currently no available "Beginner" label. The following is the default level label: Made between 1710 and 1750, this pine chest is nailed together. The nailed construction was much less expensive than the joining of boards using mortises and tenons. The front and both sides are paint-decorated by means of a stencil in a lily, or fleur-de-lis, design. With a lift top and two drawers, the chest probably held flat textiles and clothing items.
