Salah Barnard died in 1795, leaving a widow and 8 living children. His widow continued to live on in the house, and possibly controlled the other lands as well. This paper, written at the time of the death of the widow, is an assessment of the land that had been bought by Barnard and the value of each section. The homelot, Lot 29 I, with 3 acres and buildings, is valued at $1383.33.
